The Spark Life startup contest is “the first European startup contest dedicated to tomorrow’s quality of life”, says Sodexo.

Have you already developed a functional prototype and validated your value proposition?

If you have and you do, Spark Life wants to hear from you!
A networking event is taking place next Wednesday from 7pm at the Imperial War Museum, where interested startup founders will have the opportunity to meet the innovation managers of five major international leaders in quality of life services, learn more about the contest, and ask any questions about the program.
There are still 44 days for founders to submit their applications – the prizes on offer for successful applicants include:
– A free 1 week pass for thecamp, an incubator / accelerator in Aix-en-Provence, in the South of France, where teams can participate in founder / ceo meetings, access thecamp’s ecosystem, which includes a “fablab”, plus access to design and coding teams, public and private mentoring, and industry experts.
– A €20,000 POC contract with one of Sodexo and four innovation partners (Accor Hotels, SNCF, Le Village, and Steelcase) which includes 3-6 months of real-life experimentation on the partner’s site, direct interaction with their customers and end users, and an exclusive mentor / sponsor appointed from within the partner company.
40 selected startups whose applications have been successful will be invited to pitch at a Viva Technology event in Paris in June (consisting of 45k visitors, 6k CEOs and more than 250 investors) – at which the final 10 startups will be selected and invited for a final pitch-off at Sodexo’s Quality of Life Conference in October 2017, in front of 700 specially invited guests and key speakers.
In short, HHH’ers, next week’s get-together is a fantastic opportunity to ask all the questions you’re sure to have about how this competition will play out, what’s in it for you (and your team), and mingle with business leaders across the whole spectrum of quality of life services.
The entrance criteria are broad; if your startup is exploring Health & Wellbeing, Spaces or Environments, or Social Interactions, and providing disruptive solutions to everyday problems, Sodexo’s business leaders want to meet YOU next Wednesday.
There are still 44 days left to submit your applications, so make you go straight to the source and discover everything you need to know before you hit send on that application!
