National Apprenticeship week runs from 6th-10th March and will bring together employers and apprentices from across England to celebrate a decade of success, says the government.
They have even released a funky online map to help you find events near you. If you’re in Westminster next Thursday, for example, why not trot along to this breakfast meeting which will discuss how the much-maligned Apprenticeship Levy might affect your business, courtesy of Westminster Adult Education Service?
Or you could try this breakfast meeting, also next Thursday, also all about the Apprenticeship Levy, but on the other side of town, courtesy of Islington Council.
Are we sensing competition here?
On Monday, you can tour the Toni and Guy Academy if hairdressing is your thing, on Tuesday you can visit the House of Commons to learn more about apprenticeships, on Wednesday you can talk paid apprenticeships at the Islington Council Aspire Apprenticeship Event, Thursday, breakfast time remember? And Friday?

Right now, according to this Key Facts document, there are 28,000 apprenticeship vacancies waiting to be discovered online, across 1,500 job roles, and 170 different industries.
And in the 2015-2016 academic year, participation in apprenticeships hit a new record level with 899,400 funded apprentices taking on one form of apprenticeship or another.
